Welcome to Downtown

Downtown

Surrounding the sprawling Capitol lawn, Downtown Lansing has something for everyone during lunch hour, a weekend afternoon, or a night out. Taking a stroll through Downtown is an outing in itself, as the area is known for its walkability and accessibility. Along the River Trail, get some sun at the Rotary Park beach or in a kayak on the Grand River. Swing by the Stadium District for a Lugnuts baseball game and a drink at Lansing Brewing Company, and grab dinner at a local favorite like Kewpee's or EnVie in Washington Square's historic brick streets.

State of Michigan buildings like the Michigan Capitol Building, the Michigan Supreme Court, and the Library of Michigan are beautiful focal points of the Downtown area, offering tours and some casually jaw-dropping architecture. With many offices and Lansing Community College located Downtown, living in a luxury apartment or downtown house would make commuting even more of a breeze.

Lively city vibes with a laid-back community feel.

Across Lansing's communities, all roads seem to lead to Downtown. Here, you don’t have to settle for traffic or cringe-worthy rent prices to enjoy the perks of city living.
