St. Johns

Welcome to St. Johns

Thirty minutes north of Lansing you'll find the tight-knit community of St. Johns. It's a small, friendly town with strong agricultural roots and a neighborly spirit.

Fulfill the autumn tradition of visiting Uncle John's Cider Mill–get some donuts and cider with the kids, or if it's just the adults, check out their hard cider and winery. If you want to pick your own apples, check out Phillips Orchards. There are many parks scattered throughout town, ever-convenient for a natural reprieve. The IQHub is a perfect daytime activity for anyone who wants to learn more about agricultural history and innovation in the region.

In town, you'll find a shop with local organic goods, such as honey and chocolate; a couple great pizza joints; bars with live music; boutiques; and an art gallery. Don't miss the annual Mint Festival, held in August with a parade, live music, plenty of goodies, and more.

A farmland sanctuary in mid-Michigan.

Surrounded by tilled soil, apple orchards, and many farms, St. Johns is your beautiful home just north of the capital urban center. Enjoy the rural beauty and local crops, or even the to-dos in town. But don't worry, Lansing is just down the road when you want a taste of bigger city living.
