Each year, Michigan State University brings approximately 200 new faculty and staff to the Lansing region. Common Thread is our partnership with MSU to ensure these newcomers don't just find jobs here — they find home. One evening of meaningful introductions designed to help new Lansing residents start building the community connections that transform a location into home. This isn't a typical networking event. We're facilitating meaningful introductions between MSU newcomers and Lansing's most connected community members across sectors. Come ready to meet people with common interests — whether that's professional interests, hobbies, causes you care about, or simply a shared love for what makes this region special.
