Middle Village was devised in 2021 as an innovative idea to fill empty storefronts while lifting up aspiring entrepreneurs. Our mission is to break down entrepreneurship barriers by providing a space for business owners to grow their brand, build their customer base, and create a fun shopping experience. But we're not in this alone—although Downtown Lansing, Inc. manages the program and provides the space, Lake Trust Credit Union supports us with generous funding, and the Michigan Small Business Development Center equips business owners with training and resources.
